Because changing his style would negate his strengths. If he injures himself out of rugby league it's because there was no other option for a player like him. He has to do what he does best, which is use his speed and aggression.
He doesn't injure himself attacking Poo. Its his defence that causes him issues.
If he dosent change his style his injury issues will continue so why re sign him then. Definition of madness surely. Lets do nothing but keep our fingers crossed it dosent happen again. Yep that'll work.

Try telling issac degois that ! The fact is the overall tackling technique at Parramatta is shit. And it all comes down to a rookie coach.
Tackling technique is something players learn as kids. And in first grade they’re all taught to make first contact with the ball. You’re talking as if Arthur’s never been part of an NRL coaching set up before Parramatta. The fact is he’s been at Melbourne and Manly as well. He’d know that players shouldn’t lead with their heads.

Actually he did his knee getting tackled last year. The bloke is made of glass. Using the shoulder is how players are supposed to tackle. If it breaks it’s bad luck, not bad technique.

Why would he be on ‘starting money’ when he’s not even guaranteed a top 17 spot?

Mate ypu said ypurself before he BECOME a flop he be on 300-350k at a guess. That was your guess. Now he is a flop you've changed tone. Hey you could be right but I highly doubt Kane Evans managers gone gee there offering you a 3yr contract on not even top 17 money. Sign it.Ffs Pou.

Because the fact he spent so much time in reserve grade showed he wasn’t held in such high regard after all. They wouldn’t have been surprised by him. They would have watched plenty of tape of him before they signed him.

As for the length of the contract, that keeps the price down, it doesn’t push it up. Long contracts represent a risk to the club not the player. If he’s not happy he can whinge until he gets a release or an upgrade. The club only has the option of sacking him if he f**ks up badly off the field.

Do you think Kane Evans beleived he was a NSW cup player who MAY fill in for first grade so signed a cheap 3 yr deal knowing so?

We both know this is not true. Know back up player is offered a 3yr contract. He was viewed as a top 17 player who would transform our pack. BA even spoke about him and the body shape he wanted etc......Plus he was signed around rnd 10 which suggests he was a target

“We’re excited to add more depth to our forward pack; Kane’s size and aggression adds another dimension to our playing squad for next season,” said Head Coach Brad Arthur.
