Is that for real? That's a whole other level of stupid. Who drives home from their own wedding?

There is this from 4 years after he retired

FORMER Australian rugby league player Carl Webb has been charged after he allegedly jumped on a car bonnet and threatened the occupants of three homes, near Cairns.

The 33-year-old, who retired from the National Rugby League in 2011 and lives at Trinity Beach near Cairns, will front court this month after being charged with four offences by police who arrested him early on Saturday morning.

The alleged incidents took place some distance from his home and it is alleged he did not know any of the homes’ occupants.

A police spokesman confirmed a man was arrested at 4.15am at Trinity Park after police received a number of complaints from the public.

“All the occupants of the residences were asleep prior to the incident and were visibly distressed as a result of it,” the spokesman said.

Webb played 186 first grade games for the Brisbane Broncos, North Queensland Cowboys and Parramatta Eels during his 11-year football career.

He is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 31 facing three counts of attempted entering (of a) dwelling with intent at night threatening violence and one count of wilful damage

NORTH Queensland rugby league star Carl Webb has been fined and banned from driving after being caught drink-driving the morning after his wedding.
The Cowboys bruiser was fined $750 and banned from driving for six months.

Webb, who married in October last year, blew 0.121 - more than twice the legal alcohol limit - when breath-tested by police.

He pleaded guilty to the charge in the Townsville Magistrate's Court.

I completely missed this one. When you train the house down they can’t be strangers houses. I don’t think Carl got the memo

Appearing

But in channel 9 terms he would have been enforcing because of how much enforcement he does. Did they mention he is an enforcer?

Hmm.. not sure I get you.

Perhaps you could enforce your point a little more enforcefully.

Rugby league star Jarryd Hayne’s bail has been varied so he can enter Newcastle to attend court after he was accused of raping a woman in NSW’s Hunter Valley.

The 30-year-old, who is charged with aggravated sexual assault, was excused from attending Newcastle Local Court when his case was briefly mentioned on Wednesday.

It’s alleged the one-time NFL player had sex with a 26-year-old woman without her consent and knowing that she wasn’t consenting in Newcastle in September 2018.

Hayne’s barrister has said he intends to plead not guilty.

On Wednesday, his matter was adjourned until April 3 and a bail condition that he not enter Newcastle was varied to make an exception for court appearances.

However, Hayne is again excused from attending his next mention if he’s legally represented.
