Watch for him to try and score from dummy half when within 2 metres of the try line on approximately 468 occasions throughout the season.... And come up short Every. Single. Time...

Cameron is making his debut for Featherstone today in a pre-season friendly against Leeds Rhinos...and after just 5 minutes scored from dummy half within 2 metres of the try line :D

That was a 1 in 469 event
Make it a 2 in 470 event after he scored again in week 1 of the regular season. In startling news, it appears that it's easier to score tries from dummy half in the UK 2nd tier than it is in the NRL :D. Fair play to him though, he played 80 minutes in temperatures of 3 degrees and icy rain 9 days after arriving in the country.

They mustn’t do video sessions in the 2nd tier.

Apparently Dane Chisholm (aussie half back who plays for Bradford) warned all his team mates beforehand that King would try this, but to no avail.
I think his move is going to be good for both parties, this is a totally different level to NRL and probably the right level for him but he's playing with a good bunch of team mates and you should have seen the joy on his face when he scored

Are you, by any chance, also looking for an oversized centre/backrower/utility? The bloke I'm thinking of probably doesn't like the cold, but he has probably played a few winter games in Canberra so should be able to handle it. Likes his sleep too (sometimes on the field).

Sorry to prolong this thread but you'd have to be hardnosed not to see the feelgood factor here..after a third try on Sunday in three games he has gone from from being an NRL cast-off to a cult hero at Featherstone and he's only been over in England for 17 days!

post-game when everyone else is back in the sheds

fans in a Featherstone pub that night

(and yes tier 2 in England doesn't remotely compare to NRL , but he's one happy player)
