Patience is required for Liddle. Who here can honestly stomach us playing farah, only for liddle to leave and become an origin class hooker at melbourne when smiff retires? Remember how we all feel about ado carr!

My opinion is that it should be Liddle's spot to start the season. Worst case we play Liddle off the bench. It's such a key position and we need someone better than Robbie in that spot. If Liddle isn't good enough though we are in a bad spot because we have to recruit someone to fill that role.

I have my doubts Liddle will make it as a regular first grader in 2019. He has something...but will that be enough? Im yet to be convinced.

Agree, we didn't bring RF back just for his 300 games, we had no real options for a 9. Liddle just looks to fragile, though I hope he can make it.

He'll be sweet . He already has WAY more skill and ability then the nsw 1 trick pony Cook(run fast allover the place) His shoulder has been ok for the last half of 2018 so until and if it ever happens again he will be one of the NRL's best hookers.
Yes i know its time to deliver but lets not lose him before he does.
I guess you need to watch the lower grades and Isp to see the real stand out players because this kid is super good !

Liddle won't go to Melbourne. They have Smith for two years and a young bloke who they already have big wraps on.

Regardless, I would like to see us add some depth at hooker.

At the end of this year presuming Robbie goes, we have one specialist.

Not enough for the squad and that is ONLY if Liddle ends up playing 80 mins (which I doubt he will).

We are short two hookers I think.

We’ve signed Penriths ISP hooker Soni Luke who has been training with first grade during pre season. Highly rated juniour was MOTM in the 2015 NYC Grand Final. Had a few injuries and moved on to try his luck elsewhere.

Ah cheers Vic I didnt see that one

He's on a second tier contract so dont think anything was announced about it. With us still only having 28 in the squad he could be updated if needed. I havent seen much of him but know 2-3 years ago there was a bit of hype around him. They've got him doing the full pre season so must have impressed someone. Hopefully he's not another Manaia Cherrington and fizzles into nothing

He doesnt have much size if Brooks looks like a giant next to him, but like you said, he must have impressed someone.

A few minutes before the fulltime hooter of the 05 GF they panned to Sheens and Senter standing near the bench....as happy as he looked there was also an umistakable look of "damn ...just one more year!"
