I wouldn't rule anything out with Norman. But my prediction is -and remains from last season- that Ben Hunt is not an elite, million dollar half back and splutters rather than fires consistently-irrespective of how his forwards are travelling or who's partnering him in the halves. HIs kicking game in particular is not accurate enough. At some stage, he will lose confidence yet again and request a move to hooker -then the fun will start.

I wouldn't rule anything out with Norman. But my prediction is -and remains from last season- that Ben Hunt is not an elite, million dollar half back and splutters rather than fires consistently-irrespective of how his forwards are travelling or who's partnering him in the halves. HIs kicking game in particular is not accurate enough. At some stage, he will lose confidence yet again and request a move to hooker -then the fun will start.

Hunt’s kicking accuracy during the semi against Brisbane seemed pretty good to me. Whether he’s worth a million bucks is moot; his value to the team as a genuine halfback is immeasurable considering Saints haven’t had a specialist one since Matt Head.

So, by this logic, Ben Hunt in 2018 had a more accurate kicking game than five of the following half backs- Cooper Cronk/Adam Reynolds/Johnathan Thurston/Daley Cherry Evans/Nathan Cleary/Chad Townsend. Yeah- right.
