Lost a irreplaceable Slater and a representative front rower with no replacements signed.

As we saw with Croft in 2018, Hughes will take some time in adjusting to the week-to-week grind. Kasiano fills Glasbys spot but he didn't meet expectations in 2018.

Throw in a contract stand off involving the clubs most influential figure and all doesn't seem right at the Storm. I have them within my eight still but won't be as dominant as the past 10 years.

Hard not to think that Slater's departure won't have an impact. He's been a legend of the game but does there come a point where Smith starts to trail off a little bit? Time needs to be continually put into Croft and Hughes and keep giving Munster the responsibility he can show he can handle. Still think we may slide a little maybe 4-6th.
