St George Illawarra coach Paul McGregor has amended his squad to 19 ahead of the Dragons' Round 1 clash against the North Queensland Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville.

Reece Robson and Jonus Pearson didn't travel with the squad to Queensland and have missed the cut for the Dragons' season-opener.

As much as I like Dufty, in a game where we play such a big pack of forwards, Mary should have gone with 4 forwards.

Don't feel Mary has the nous to use the bench he has chosen

Mat will only get minutes if we are trailing the Cowboys with 10 minutes to go.

There shouldn't be any rush to re-sign this muppet. He should be sacked if we only win 2 of first 8 games or an end of season assesment on how we finish up overall. They should be the only options.

Its a luxury I am not sure we can afford.

Luckily for us they have had a bit of a reshuffle down that edge. Hopefully their combination is clunky, and at least we don’t have Cooper running off Thurston.

Its childs play coaching against us...they just need to come out and play up tempo..tire the forwards out...we then start to attack sideways because the Power game has lost its power...we then play even more one out dragons footy...we then have ineffective replacements on the bench to replace our tiring forwards...then target our edges and you will score...especially our right edge... ( Aitken always pushes up out of the line )... eventually our ruck will have more holes than a block of swiss cheese.

Same coach, same team, same comp.
Dragons will be on top of the comp after round 10.
Nobody can stop the power game in the first month of footy.
We are fitter, stronger and gel quicker than all other teams due to Mary's ability to hit the ground running.
Plus, he needs that contract extension before the inevitable slide starts after origin.
He'll have them ready.
