He looked To have really slimmed down in the charity shield. He looked like he did in 2014. After his injury it looked like Maguire tried to bulk him up to play more in the middle but it didn't really work out.

I wonder if having 2 2nd rowers on the bench will see Sam Move to the middle with maybe Tatola back to the bench come game day.
I'll be surprised if Tatola doesn't start.

8. Tatola
9. Cook
10. T.Burgess

12. S.Burgess
13. Murray

14. Knight
15. Nicholls
16. Lowe
17. Turner

Aside from Turner in and Allan to 18 same as last week
I like the idea of Turner in the team again. Strengthen up the middle in defence.
Its good to see Turner rewarded. I think he was solid in all our trials. He looks a lot more mobile without the neck brace. He is really stinging in defence as well. The fact he’s playing for a contract will be great motivation as well to play all out this year.

Tom Amone will take a bench spot sooner rather than later I think , and I have nothing against Nichols I rate him as well, just not as aggressive as Tom Amone with his lower centre of gravity

Round 2 NRL Line Up to play Dragons: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2019/03/19/round-2-nrl-line-up-to-play-dragons/

Obviously happy with that as it's pretty much the same as last week. Great to see Turner rewarded though and I hope he gets some decent game time as I'd be keen to see if he's going to step up this year.

Also, GI is clearly going to stay on the right for now but I'd be interested to see if Wayne keeps that up and keeps selecting him there. If Burnsy keeps playing like he did last week and AJ's form remains steady, it'd be kinda hard not to apart from injury of course.

Perhaps Bennett will keep Inglis on the right side to enable attacking options both sides of the ruck, that is, of course, if Burns continues playing to such an high standard. Bit of a success story in progress is Mr Burns.

Wow, I won't be able to watch this episode until tomorrow arvo but gee, GI is really not afraid to stand up and speak about his issues.
it’s worth watching. GI is very honest and speaks really well although you can see how emotional he is. Very raw, honest interview and well done Yvonne Sampson

The day has arrived again!!! Game Day!! I know the Dragons have some fairly significant injuries but at the end of the day, it's the Dragons. We simply cannot afford to take them lightly as they will rise against us.

Also, from Sporting News,

Damien Cook recognises sole opportunity to outshine Cameron McInnes

Damien Cook will have just one opportunity to put his nose in front of the race for the hotly-contested NSW starting hooker role as South Sydney take on St George Illawarra this Thursday night.

With the Dally M Hooker of the Year set to go head-to-head against Cameron McInnes in the No.9 jersey, the race for representative honours will start afresh at Jubilee Oval.

Before last year, there had never been such a tight race for the hooker spot made vacant by Nathan Peats' rib injury and concerning form. The pair quickly became the dominant names considered for Brad Fittler's rejuventated side.

While 25-year-old McInnes quietly turned into one of the NRL's most damaging dummy-halves, the South Sydney star went on to claim both NSW and Australian representative honours.

But the Dally M Hooker of the Year will have just one chance to outshine the dangerous Dragon before Fittler names his State of Origin side for game one.

Speaking to the Big Sports Breakfast on Wednesday morning, Cook admitted that his biggest challenge to retain the Blues jersey awaits in just the second round of the season.

"I love coming up against (Cam), he's a tough competitor," Cook told the program.

"He puts his body on the line and he always looks very competitive in everything that he does.

"He's a very good hooker of the game and he's keeping me on my toes.

"Obviously the NSW jersey we competed for last year and I was lucky enough to play it and I'd love to do so again. But he's definitely the one who's going to be a reason to why I won't get that chance again.

"So, I'm looking forward to putting in a good performance against him."

Although the pair have approximately three months to prove their worth for a State of Origin cap, it's unlikely that another hooker will rise up to challenge the in-form dummy-halves.

While Cook went from being an uncertain starting No.9 to the proud owner of NSW and Australian jerseys and 2018 Dally M hooker of the Year honours; McInnes wound up some of the most impressive numbers of the season.

The Dragons hooker topped the charts for the most receipts with 2, 794 passes and also made the second highest amount of tackles across the season with 1,147 hits at 91.1 per cent efficiency.

Although McInnes slid just shy of Dally M honours, he was notably the only other New South Welshmen in the running alongside Cook.

South Sydney will take on St George Illawarra at Jubilee Oval on Thursday, March 21 at 7.55pm.

Momentum is everything in this sport and dropping the ball first set after scoring kills it!
StGI all over it at the moment.
