If Roberts can hit and maintain some sort of form then he should hold off the other centres NSW have coming through but I won't be too upset if he is not selected.

Maloney ... don't care much if he misses out.

Jordan McLean needs to pull his finger out the next 6 weeks or so imo.

Peachey ... wouldn't have him.

Yeah personally I’d have Jack Bird and Cam Murray in there and potentially Keary but Fittler said he will remain loyal to the 2018 squad as much as he can. Apparently he also said McLean is pretty much a certainty for selection during Nine’s broadcast of Broncos v Cowboys.

Mixed messages from Freddy then as he apparently told Tim Gilbert he will be picking on form... and if the incumbents are not playing well and another player in their position has been playing out of their skin then he'll go the form player. I love that attitude and way of thinking.

I know he is not an incumbent but for mine, Jordan McLean will need to step up massively for his club to get a spot.

The incumbent would have to be playing poorly to lose his his spot. It’s not a matter of who is in the best form. Coach wouldn’t overhaul a winning side just because some blokes are playing slightly better than incumbents. The blokes who did it last year and have the combos and trust in each other should get first crack at it, as long as they’re not stinking it up at club levelS

If you don't have a "specialist utility" you have to either have a back on the bench, or a forward who can play in the backs, such as Isaah Yeo. You also need someone who can play dummy half in case of injury. This is why Peachey gets picked. He's playing for an unfashionable club not going well but there's a lot of time yet.

Fergo on the wing
Who do you drop? Turbo comes into his own with the different positions he can play well in case of injury. And I wouldn't say Fergo has much on Addocar at all.

I don't base my comment not picking Peachey around his Titans form if that's what you thought. He offers zip especially if there is no injuring excuse to give him game time.

Understand what your saying, and Craig Wing he isn't, but a lot of issues appear if you don't have a utility and I don't know of one who can cover as many positions adequately. It is when you don't cover for injuries that they are most likely to happen.
