So the draw was delayed 3 months due to naming rights? Hahahahahahahahaha.
Bit of an oversimplification.

As I understand broadcast arrangements were slowing down the release initially and then when they were about ready to go, Intrust pulled the pin and rather than trot out a sponsorless competition they waited til they had the new mob on board and released.

It's out now, not really a massive deal.

It's really not. It's laughable. Put the draw out and worry about the sponsor later. Christ it was called NSW Cup for 10 years.

If it's really not a massive deal there's not much point going on about it anymore, you've got it and can plan your season. Enjoy it!

Noticing a number of occurances where team 1 v team 2 are the same for NSW Cup and U20s on the same day but the two grades are at different venues. Sometimes even at the same time

And those games are not just NRL pre games at ANZ

A large number of them are to do NRL games (not just ANZ related), the remainder are the disjointedness between the comps having 12 and 14 clubs respectively (Victoria and Roosters additional in Flegg).

Only 3 Parramatta players in the Wenty team for Round 1. Most of the Wenty guys played in the 12-6 loss to Wyong in the Challenge Cup and to put this in perspective Guildford wiped the floor with Wyong the next week 34-0. Penrith could run up a cricket score.

My knowledge of Victorian suburbs is not great. Are they all local juniors?

Pardon me for my ignorance but last season Channel 9 showed the NSW Cup in opposition to FoxSports, recently I have cancelled my Fox subscription only to find C9 no longer broadcast these games!.WTF!.
