Thoughts on Marshal to FB and Mbye to the centres?

Two things:
1. Is Benji's body up to it these days?
2. How would he go under the high ball?
I'd be more inclined to shift Thompson to FB and Mbye to 3/4 with Jennings to the wing if there was going to be a shuffle.

Benji to FB is an option but to me it would be a last resort,I would not have a lot of confidence in him continuously under the high ball or bringing it back.
A part of being a FB is that you are isolated at times and you have to be prepared to cop a whack when competing for the high ball,I don’t see that characteristic in Benji enough to play him at the back full time.

Benji not fit enough for the rigors of fb. And centre is to hard defensivly to have some random pop up in there, he would get taken apart immediately. If only we had a specialist centre in reserves....

Tim Shines idea's were outright ridiculous where as the suggestions here have some merits, even if debatable.

Its also a matter of practicality.

Moving a half to the wing has significantly less chance of working than moving a half one spot out to the centres.

If Benji can't even handle five eight without breaking down there is no chance in hell he is handling fullback. Fullbacks generally should be the fittest on the paddock

ATM I would argue Mbye is the 3rd best fullback at the club:

1. Thompson
2. Smith
3. Mbye

I think Moses has the most talent, and last year he showed us he can be good there, however this year he has been well below average

Bahahah Benji to Fullback has merit? When was the last time Benji played fullback at NRL level?
Well perhaps I should have stated SOME have merit ? But in saying that as far as Benji playing fullback now there is no chance hell BUT a fit Benji could adapt to the role... the fullback in the modern day is very much a roaming 5/8 in a lot of ways . Locker,Barba,Boyd etc
