"Remember how everyone carried on when the 'Baby Broncos' beat the Wests Tigers last year?

"Great effort, sure, but that team still had some guys like Scott Prince, Brad Meyers, and Stuart Kelly in there to pad out the numbers... everyone was elated when the Broncos got up that night but the Dragons' win was a much better victory than what the Baby Broncos did at Campbelltown.

"When you look at the magnitude of the game and compare the level of experience between the 2002 Tigers and the 2003 Broncos, those young Dragons should walk away from this season with their heads held high.

"It is no comparison. The Dragons' win far outweighs the Baby Broncos' win."

Saints have defeated the Broncos twice in 2003, also winning 32-16 at WIN Stadium in round 17.

2009 - Round 25 - South Sydney vs St George Illawarra

Souths won 41-6 in a Saturday night shellacking of Saints.

The top of the table high fliers had been beaten in Rd 23 by Canberra (A - the hoodoo) and Rd 24 by Brisbane (H).

This loss saw Saints drop to 2nd for the week until ultimately taking the Minor Premiership before being bundled in straight sets AKA "The Choke".

Souths were dynamic and dynamite. A host of fan faves like Chris Sandow, Luke Stuart, Nathan Merritt, John Sutton, Jason Clark, Dave Tyrrell, Jaiman and Ben Lowe, David Fa'alogo, Scott Geddes, Chris McQueen and Eddy Pettybourne played. Isaac Luke and Sandow were fantastic. The forwards punching though. The backs - including Colin Best, Jamie Simpson and Junior Vaivai.

Players like Michael Crocker, Craig Wing, Rhys Wesser and Roy Asotasi on the bench, injured.

Coach Jason Taylor had one more week of coaching before being kung-fu kicked down the stairs on Mad Monday. But on this night, he and the team could do no wrong.

A 7 try to 1 try display.

Round 3, 2005 - Wests Tigers vs. Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs - After putting 28 points on the Dragons in the opening half of the 2005 season, the Bulldogs were installed as the heavyweights of the 2005 competition. Coming off a 24-12 loss against the Cowboys, it was expected the Bulldogs would return to Telstra Stadium and make short work of the Wests Tigers. Nobody expected the Tigers would come of age and have the Bulldogs under the pump at 36-18 deep in the second half. The Bulldogs rallied in the dying moments, locking the scores at 36 points a piece before Scott Prince kicked a famous field goal to win 37-36. Benji Marshall did what thousands of Wests Tigers fans wanted to do and planted a kiss on Princey's cheek. The Tigers would then go onto beat last year's runners up the Sydney Roosters in similar fashion, displaying the credentials that would ultimately net them the 2005 crown.

Round 10 2017 - Melbourne Storm vs. Gold Coast Titans - The Melbourne Storm rolled into Suncorp Stadium having won 8 of their past 9 clashes in the season. Standing in their way was the hapless Gold Coast Titans, a side that would finish the season in 15th placed. In one of the most extradinary games of 2017, the game swung dramatically through out the course of 80 minutes. At one stage it was 18-6 Melbourne, then it was 28-18 Gold Coast before the Storm rallied. When Cheyse Blair scored to make it 36-28, it appeared the Melbourne Storm would go on with it. The Gold Coast managed to dig in, Tyrone Roberts scored to give them hope and in the dying stages of the contest the Titans found themselves attacking the Storm line. Kane Elgey put a kick up for underrated winger Anthony Don who soared up above the Melbourne defence, tapped the ball back to Konrad Hurrell who managed to put the ball down despite all the attention of the Storm defence to pull off one of the more incredible victories of 2017. Gold Coast Titans 38 defeating the Melbourne Storm 36.
