I'm starting to like our coach a lot. His complete lack of giving a f**k in relation to reputations and the amount they are being paid is great.

I like the way he is picking players in the pack who do the job and that means having some leg drive and impact for our middle forwards.

As for the speed comment how many guys on here are stating to get rid of Liddle who has speed. We need as much speed as we can get. We must have one of the slowest teams in the comp.
I’m looking forward to Liddle making a difference today. It’s like adding little strings to our bow one by one.Its not just that he’s fast but he’s coming on when everyone else is slowing up. So he’s super fast.Yip speed kills.

Yeah haven't really been able to see if Liddle can create an impact as of yet, he came on when we were finished admittedly against the rorters and we were up by 20+ against the Panthers

I reckon if the games in the balance either side of half time he might get a crack earlier than usual

Madge’s coaching is the key difference for us compared to this time last season & pre ‘18.(‘12-‘18).Reputations & money earnt mean nothing to Madge when selecting teams. Its based on attitude & form.If only we had speed(papenhuyzen JAC & the turd) we’d b a genuine top 4 contender.
Build it and they will come...re speed merchants...I can’t wait for this game.It will tell us a lot about where we could end up ...ie in the finals or further or on the rubbish heap ...I wanna see Bellamy turn purple in the coaches box

I see yous talking about Jimmy the jet maybe joining us when I was at work last night...Alcohols a tough one to overcome. Just ask packer ..I think he needs to stuff up big time and then give the frog up again .. then he’s welcome

Jimmys a sensitive Pisces like me...Drink like a fish....Giving up drinking is easy just stop for a week then once it’s out of the system the urge disappears ..the problem is when it’s time to socialise ....thats when it gets tough ...but when u stop drinking the need to socialise drops too

I actually have a good feeling about this one.

So some reason Im thinking we will win a tight one.

Could completely go the other way, but I jut feel it.
I'm kinda feeling the same way to be honest. I used to be able to read the result pretty well until the last few years but tonight I'm feeling pretty good how we will go, just like last years 2 games we will have to contend with atrocious ref calls but if we can stay strong we can pull of a win tonight. Also being a Thursday night perhaps the vocal clueless Victorian crowd numbers are down and the noise doesnt affect the official referees and they give us a fair go.

Another thing before the game sorry for going on ..u know how I get..How to tell a forward pass ...coz I get tired of the whinging from the commentators ...at the exact time the ball leaves the hand take a mental picture of the distance from the feet of the passer to the white line going across the field usually u can see one of those white lines then compare that distance to the distance from the feet of the player that catches the ball exactly when they catch it to that same white line ...if the catchers distance from his foot position to that line is less than the passers foot position to the line then it’s a forward pass if it’s greater it’s legit ...obviously that’s if we are talking about the line in front of them...most of the long passes are a little bit forward but that’s ok the refs don’t notice...it has nothing to do with weather they are moving forward of backward or which direction they are facing

I've had a pretty good feeling about every game so far this year, yes including the eels and rorters games

I'm feeling pretty confident too, however I also felt pretty good going into the Eels and rorters games aswell... :joy:

But I think with my head and not my heart... I've been watching Balmain/Weststigers for over 40 years so I was very confident picking a result.. havnt had the feel for a few years but I am getting a vibe tonight.
Who knows .. hope I'm on the money lol

I felt as though we should have won that game ... but I was never super confident, and neither was I last week against the Panthers ....tonight even though we shouldn't win I just feel like we will.

Whoops that came out weird was only meant to be the one paragraph, but yep it has a very ambush feel like it tonight

Don't get me wrong Melbourne are a quality team but all it takes is Munster to have an off game and they're toast imo, whereas with the Roosters if one of Latrell, Tedesco, Keary, Cronk etc play bad the others usually step up.

Whatever happens we look pretty sharp tonight attack is threatening despite only 1 try. It's at least at pace and asking questions. If it weren't the storm probably would of had another at least. They have obviously been working hard on it so that's good.

Mbye is just full of mistakes, in attack and defence, he just seems to get in the way in attack. Any team that wants to beat the tiges just has to pepper him all night.
