Yeah I'm not comparing him to our buffoon, there is no comparison. Rather I was pointing out that he is calm and gracious because he can afford to be.
If he were under pressure he may not be so relaxed.
Looked pretty relaxed in the GF last year or am I mistaken and there was no pressure on him to make the right decision re Cronk?
Robbo's the sort of coach players want to play for and they will bust a gut to get there to be part of it (despite all the rhetoric re Pollitis etc).
Tough club, tough coach and all capable of making tough decisions.
They might be old sayings but they typify us compared to them
"bird's of a feather flock together"
"hang around with cripples you'll develop a limp" FMD we've got a limp in both legs.
"you can't soar like an eagle if you surround yourself with turkeys"

He's a good coach managing an exceptional roster with excellent systems and direction from the top down.
Thats why he appears relaxed and calculated in press conferences.
Put him in the position of Nathan Cleary all of a sudden and he may not be so composed in press conferences.

Joel Thompson abusing Keegan hipgrave after his hit last night.
He denies a homophobic slur.,
He was trying to fire up his team .
BULLSHIT .
I was watching and he must think we can't read lips.
He called him a csucker , f a hole .and a homophobic word starting with f.
All class Joel.

I may cop a bit of flak over my comments but l think someone should state the bleeding obvious.

I always had my doubts about G. Inglis over the years.

I didn't like the fact that he came from Taree, NSW but played for Queensland.
Forget the fact that he may have played his first footy north of the border but moreso, why wouldn't you want to play for your home state?

l thought he was a good player as opposed to a great player but also, a dirty one at that. I thought he was a grub at times but nevertheless.

When he went DUl last year, l thought the media and law makers relented on him because he was playing for his country, because he was captain, because he was a great 'role' model for the Indigenous and people in general .............. l did not.

I've always thought he took the easy way out and when things didn't go to plan, he displayed bad sportmanship, cried poor or discrimination and or had 'issues'.

Now, if its true, he shunned his family when things got too tough and has been caught out socialising when others. On top of that, the old chestnut, 'mental issues' gets trotted out again.

Bullsh!t l say ................ what a cop out, again.
He needs to man up just like the rest of us.
The media should call it how it really is.
I detest people hiding behind the 'mental issues' or heritage background banners, to cover for their complete lack of being a responsible adult.

I like everybody being treated as equal and nobody, regardless of race or creed. should be shown favouritism.

I'm not doubting that, mate.

What l don't like is when someone does wrong then claims, 'they are experiencing issues' rather than face the fact that they have stuffed up, apologise for and do something about it so it doesn't happen again.

Tonight one of the commentators said that Joel Thompson is being linked to Hull in the ESL. Hasler is obviously doesn't rate him and is moving him on. I will add that I think this will be the 3rd time Thompson has moved clubs while still under contract.

With Klemmer out of the next origin Jordan McLean would have been my pick to replace him, I actually would have had McLean in team for the first game. He got injured tonight and will more than likely be out for while. It is starting to look like Matt Lodge could play in the next origin game.

Without going too far into Ingles particular problem/s , what I find so demeaning are the actual media correspondents- journalists who usually write a sad sob story about the player who has transgressed for the general public to swallow . It is usually about what a rough childhood he had to endured and how all the odds were stacked against him etc. etc. I just find it so damn sickening to open a newspaper and find these excuses which are constantly being thrown at us .

As Old Kogarah Boy has said - these players need to stand up and be accountable for their actions - they are lauded as true champions of the game of rugby league and as such accept the rewards , so it is about time that they stand tall and also accept the consequences of their actions .

Tigers v souffs.
Shit game ,shit crowd ,shit playing surface.
To sum it up SHIT.

Just saw a G. Burgess image doing a massive eye gouge on a Tigers player.

Can someone please tell me how many times the Burgess brothers combined, have done this before?

It seems to be a common pommy thing.
They should throw the book at him.

Just watching the Storm and Roosters....we are a long way from competing with these blokes

Yep...we are not even close. Amazing what good coaching staff can do.

P.S I'll watch the reply today...couldn't be bothered going to game...McGregor and the Board are killing my enjoyment of this game and club I have supported for decades.

No wonder the Storm have been so good for so long, When you see Bellamy having a meltdown you realise we wants perfection, when you hear Smith talk at 1/2 time he makes so much sense, then you hear Slater analyse the game and also lets not forget Cronk , these guys are basically coaches on the field no wonder they have had so much success, brains on and off the field.
