Has there ever been a more overrated flog than Latrine Mitchell?

Are we seriously calling him overrated? He killed it for a few rounds straight earlier in the season and in some cases did it all by himself.

The only comment I've really agreed with so far is that when he's on, he's fking on. Otherwise he goes missing badly. It's clear that mentally he's not in all games

Not professional enough to be on every game yet but is still the best centre in the game by a long shot.

shhh

let's just go with overrated.

I personally can't see how any other club would want him. He should be thankful to be re-signed at the roosters for 10 years on $450k

Latrell Mitchell had an off night. He missed having Luke Keary and Cooper Cronk creating opportunities for him. The problem with Latrell Mitchell's SoO performance was the incompetence of Nathan Cleary and Cody Walker.

More inconsistent performances than the NZ Warriors!
When he's good he's very good, when he's not he's bog avg.

Mitchell is still very young, so time will tell.
Many young players with heaps of talent go through similar. Too many sycophants blowing smoke up their butts telling them what superstars they are.

Apparently Freddy Fittler came back from a Kangaroo tour around Mitchells age, overweight with a real bad attitude. Thankfully Phil Gould was his coach at the time who sorted him out.

Jarryd Hayne is probably the best example though. Big, fast, naturally gifted. One of the best on his day.
Hayne would have to be one of the most inconsistent players whom comes to mind.

Let's hope that Mitchell has someone in his corner who can set him straight.
Come to think of it, maybe someone should use Fittler & Hayne as a comparison to show Mitchell that he has a choice; either fullfil his potential like Freddy, or go down in history like Hayne who wasted an opportunity. With his size & natural talents, Hayne could easily have been an Immortal.
It all boils down to attitude.
