My biggest issue was NSW bench rotation. Klemmer started the game well, played too much in an opening stint, and then never came back on. Vaughan, Frizell, and Trbojevic were left on the bench for too long.

I like what I saw from Cam Murray, but he can't be expected to be the one making ground from the 10m line.

Haas and Crichton were ineffective. Crichton got through a lot of defence, but that side was stronger defensively with Frizell.

That Walker-Latrell defensive pairing was just awful.

Biggest issues were the halves and the bench. QLD came out firing in the 2nd half and we were completely directionless at 8-0 up.

The bench rotation was awful and the balance of the bench is just wrong. Crighton is not a bench player, we need another prop.

Cleary is begging for Mythchell's Golden Boy status. The teflon suit which covers all of his failings. Watch his ineffective cross-field kick when your team was in QLD's 20 metre zone in the 25th minute. Cooper Cronk he aint. Yet similar to Golden Boy/ dog humper, Cleary gets all of the criticism deflected to the other half. Both halves fail, only one gets a kick in the balls and is made to pay the price.

Why was that not the commentary at half time? During the half time break all of the NSW commentators were entirely happy with the scoreline and the effort from your team. There was no criticism about any of your players. Andrew Johns in his 'leaving the field for the break' interview with Teddy, said : "Great Half(of football)".

You were simply outplayed as a team in the second half.
I'm not sure why it's so mysterious to you that much of the discussion is reflective of what happened in the second half? Or are we not supposed to talk about the team in a thread titled 'NSW 2019'.

Fair call but Qld bombed 2 dead set tries thru spasticity, another 1 or 2 were missed through desperate defence.

I think most of you have it right. Player vs player there's not much between these sides in terms of ability. It was mainly attitude that made the difference.

Having said that one does wonder who this new, shit bloke is who's playing in Chrichton's jersey and skin.

You did bomb as coupe no denying that. Crichton would be the only change I made to the team for next game.

The wisdom of hindsight. Maybe after QLD clinch the series, you'll figure-out how to beat us this year.

Your team walking around in little circles or standing stunned in shock with hands on hips at the end of the game, tells one that they were not prepared for what QLD did to them. Afterward they were trying to comprehend what just took place. That is not a good sign.

Teddy needs to pass more - can be a bit one dimensional. Murdered a 3 on 2 overlap. When he does pass he can set up tries. Compare him to Ponga - a modern fullback that gets others involved all the time. Maybe he's a stat padder

On the other hand, Wighton needs to pass less. He's a headless chook that tries to do too much. Just run hard.

If Pearce maintains his recent form I'd look at bringing him in at 6. I can't see Fitler dropping Cleary.
I once swore that I never want to see Pearce in SOO again. His recent form and form last year has changed my mind. I think his approach has changed a lot and he is much more settled and isn't trying to prove anything. He just needs to play his game.

Yep, and that was probably exacerbated by the ankle injury Cordner picked up in the first half. He played through it, but I'll bet it effected his lateral mobility.

I was concerned going into the game that NSW's bench looked too light with only 1 specialist prop on it. For Origin 2 we need a second props on the bench so the front rowers can be rotated regularly and not be over burdened. Also no offence to Wighton, but we can't carry a player who can only play in the backs on the bench, its just a waste in my book.

Interchange strategy was where Fittler stuffed up as you outlined Fraility. However, some of that was because of the bench selections.

Turbo for Cotric if he comes through this and next week.
A prop for Crichton. I'd have Tamou personally but McLean will more likely get the gig.
That's all the changes needed.
Freddy needs to learn how to manage his bench. Maybe Gus could give him a crash course.
