Adam Zampa not playing cause he is gash Clarke ffs

On good batting pitches in the T20 era we now live in (which is 90% or more of all ODIs), Zampa simply doesn't have the turn nor natural variation of the other major wrist spinners such as Chahal/Yadav/Rashid Khan/Adil Rashid thats required to regularly trouble batsmen at international level. Outside of the ODIs he played in India, Zampa's leg breaks rarely turn.

Gone are the days such as during Richie Benaud's era where leggies who didnt spin it much could get away with landing it on a good line and length. If you Youtube the MCC masterclass Benaud did on leg spin, he refers to these types of bowlers as 'Rollers' - leggies who sacrifice spin and simply just try to land on a good length and hope for a pitch thats favourable for them to return good figures.
International batsmen today will exploit that type of bowling.
