Even if we beat Souths we would of been without Widdop , Vaughan , Sims and possibly JDB for the next game ( which is the one game away from the GF - he just has absolutely no idea )

Under his never ending tenure we have only played three finals games for one win. One that’s it .

How the hell does he come up with this one game away from the grand final stuff ????

Bennett / Bellamy / Robo are not satisfied unless they win a Grand Final .

Just like to comment on the one game away fairy tale.
Here is the reality of the story ,we would have had to win 4 games in a row to make the GF or 3 in a row to end one game from the GF .
In the second half of a season under Mary we have won 3 in a row twice (2014,2018) and never 4 in a row under .
2014 we won 7 of our last 14 games and 3 from our last 8.
2015 4/14 and 4/8
2016 5/14 and 3/8
2017 5/14 and 3/8
2018 6/13 and 3/8
so on form and history we were Buckleys.
Which brings us back to this season , he said in press conference we would have to win 7/11 in the run home but if his form in previous seasons is a guide well.........

All valid points and his 7 out of 11 is a myth and to make it sound we are not in that bad a position and it is reasonably douable. 8th place is already on 16 as Parra have a bye left. We are 2 wins out of the 8 and 3 counting for and against.

Liklihood is 7 wins takes to 26, 8 - 28, which will be an absolute minimum. Last year 30..so could be 9 out of 11. Even if we get to 8 wins and 28...with our - 62 For and against we would likely miss out unless we have some big wins along the way.
So 9 out of 11 is looking like the aim...the clock is ticking but alarm bells have already gone off

This just shows you what a goose he is and how the Board is incompetent

Like a lot of us we have played competitive sports and at no stage I have ever said we need to win 7 out of 11

We wanted to win every game ie 11/11

The issue we ALL agreed was doust , but in truth its the WHOLE board and COACH.
They are al too interested in wearing the red/white and boosting about its past.
Each year except when DAD was in charge we speak about winning so many games to make the 8.
Like thats going to assist with winning the GF , whats the point in making the 8 then getting handed a hiding.
5 state of origin players and we still are unable to play 80 minutes of football.
Those 5 peoples should be pushing the younger players but who cares once a st george nrl contract is signed the players either leave early or make up the squad
Only Simms can hold his head up high came from Brisbane it showed the high level we was playing at , but again only a matter of time before the coaching staff/s get into his head its ok we are the red V.

Mate the guy rides around on a jet ski all day taking in the views.
DAD knew .......
ALL players in one location not half in sydney and half in GONG.
They bought a BUS to travel down together for training and game days.
McCracker has NO CLUE
GET ALL PAYERS IN ONE LOCATION IN KOGRAH<>
