And it's been happening for years, Archer did it before.

Archer's was a puff piece designed to justify rulings without cross examination. Annesley takes questions from the floor.

Cowboys were shit but the fact remains if the refs got the call right then they win regardless of how poor they were.

There was also a questionable call near the end of the Warriors game in which a clear knock back was called a knock on by the touch judge. That could've ended up costing the Warriors the game but thankfully their defence managed to hold on.

I'd like to see a "coaches challenge" implemented just like in the NFL. If a coach feels hard done by he can signal that he wants to challenge a call at the next play the ball in which the referee will stop and send it to the bunker for review.

To avoid abuse of this you'd be given one per half (Similar to the NFL). If the call was overturned and your coach is correct you get to challenge again. If you are wrong you lose the right to challenge calls on the field until the next half/game.

f**k off. The call was early in the game. If the try wasn't awarded who knows how the game would have turned out. It wouldn't have ended up 26-21 just because of one try being disallowed.

I miss the days where the ref boss did everything except admit it was a wrong call. Couldn't get enough of those KPI's
