3 tries in each half. How exactly were the 3 tries in the second half somehow better than the first half?

The biggest difference was all the penalties NSW were getting. First half we got nothing. Second half QLD were penalised for most of their grubby plays.

Pretty much. It's Maloney's side. He just needs to be solid defensively and maybe take the odd dart. We should honestly win this, but i have no confidence at all.

By the time Graham moved into play five eight, the game was already over. As I said in a post last month -

NSW lead 18-6 at halftime, neither of those 3 tries was set up by Graham (two were set up by Maloney, the last one by James Tedesco). NSW's next try, T. Trbojevic's second, was set up by Tedesco and Addo Carr which put NSW ahead 24-6. In fact NSW were ahead 28-6 (after a further two penalty goals) before Graham did much as a "five eight" in the game (laying on the last two tries).

If you moved Gram to five eight, what would you do if Maloney got injured? I have no problem with a specialist half being brought in. The issue is, due to his history at Origin level, that its Pearce as the replacement.

It is well known Pearces origin record is aids but the circumstances this time round are so much easier. QLD are significantly worse than the teams he faced and NSW are so much better. He can't possibly f**k up this time

Pearce is not a origin player and has proven it countless times . The plodders Reynolds and hodgkinson won it and then last year again without him we won .

As poor as cleary is , he let Maloney run the show , Pearce will not and Maloney will end up having a shit game due to not having total control of attack .

Should QLD win Fittler and co need to be sacked . Honestly has there not be a year that Pearce plays great pre origin series , we see articles of him learning lessons , maturing ready to lead teams etc . Happened again this year and again we are stuck with him

Halves are irrelevant when you have Turbo & Teddy in the same team anyway.

They single handedly destroyed QLD game 2 and will probably do the same in the decider

Go to a club with instant success (which he did) and more money

At the end of the day he had no contractual obligation to stay with us. He fulfilled his contract with us and went elsewhere

Pearce and Cleary together would be an absolute disaster. You can't have both halves "making their tackles and trying hard"

You would have to bring Keary in next year.
