You don’t go to the footy
You have no idea about anything to do with Sydney.
All you do is wait for a shit crowd and then have a crack.
You go quiet when it’s a shit crowd in any other joint though.
You as a punter add virtually zero to rugby league.
Yet you tell everyone on here how they should be doing it.

10k against a team that brings no supporters was what I expected .
I actually couldn’t go ( I gave my tix to some mates though)

It’s school holidays.
People are away
People are having to spend a fortune entertaining their kids for 2 weeks.

A game of footy on a Sunday arvo is not a high priority.
Especially as it’s on f**king free to air TV.

Nice play the man but you didnt answer the question as to if this would have been the perfect opportunity for Sharks to do something to make the afternoon out at Shark Park an irresistible opportunity for a family outing? You seem very comfortable with yet another mediocre crowd. Why isnt it a high priority?
Raining cats and dogs here for a week yet Saturday night 60k made it a priority to go to a sports game in Perth. If its not a priority we need to know how to change that. We should never be happy with mediocrity, even at Cronulla.

Give us a chance and we'll see what we can do. If in 50 years we are still only getting 11k to a game on a sunny sunday afternoon then yep we deserve as much sht as Cronulla are getting. I mean seriously you had a crowd avg of 12k in 1978 and haven't been able to consistently grow it in the proceeding 41 years! There's stagnation, then there's Cronulla.

My first solution would be to ask as many of the 209K locals who didnt go why they dont go then find ways to solve the reasons.

Dogs have good support in Newcastle. Probably second best supported away side besides the Dragons
