For me there is no doubt that Luke is still our best hooker.
His darts, decision making and service from the play-the-ball are better than the rest.
Roach is in second place; but will his body hold up?
Lawton is third.

I also think Burr is well ahead of Tevaga at lock.
But overall our pack lacks firepower.

They are being picked for their defence at the exclusion of all else.
It's why they look so lost on attack.

I'd forgotten about Ayshford, he should be there instead of Beale, who seems ineffective in attack. Aysh is known to set up his wingers.

I would like us to start having a bit of an eye towards next year from here.
Unless we go on a huge winning run, which I can't really see, I'd like us to start with Lawton, and maybe have a young explosive forward on the bench to get 20-30 minutes moving forward, at the expense of Lisone.

Lisone has played a couple of good games in a row now.

Also, not sure we’ll have that luxury with all the injuries we may have.

And we are not that far off the 8

So basically CHT in for Lawton and Perham/Ayshford named until Hiku either passes or fails the concussion protocol.

Will CHT play a bench hooker role? Or will we see Jazz at hooker for a spell and CHT just warming the bench until the 78th minute?

I would have thought Nikorima goes to hooker

The part in bold will almost certainly happen... and then he'll be dropped

When Luke needs a break, Coco will go to 6 and Nikorima will go to 9.

I quite like that actually.

If you look at that pack there isn't anything there that suggests attacking flair, other than Luke.
Another game to bore the pants off the fans.

We have Blair to hit a hole once, and he's good for an offload or two?

On Pulu - he's on the outer too, is he being shopped around? He must be frustrated with the dire drivel being dished up while he doesn't get a run...

A tremendous weekend for NZ sport.

I hope the Warriors play their part. The timing is nice, Saturday night, before 'the big one' at Lords on Sunday.
