You heard right , international cricket comes to Uncle Sams back yard

From the 4/8

3 x T20 (2 in Florida, 1 in Providence)
3 x ODI (1 in Providence, 2 in Port of Spain)
2 x tests (Antigua, Kingston) - will do separate threads for these

Huh? Where did you find matches being held at Rhode Island???

https://www.espncricinfo.com/scores/series/19333/india-in-west-indies-2019

Cricinfo has those particular matches scheduled at Guyana.

As for matches held in Lauderhill, Florida, CPL matches and the occasional T20 international have been held there over the past decade. That's the only venue in the US that meets the ICC requirements to host internationals

Fair enough

Got a little excited as there is a Providence city in Rhode Island, only a few hrs flight from Lauderhill

Ill change it to Providence

Haha! No worries.

If in the future a match were played in New York (which is close enough to Rhode Island), no doubt all the subcontinent expats will turn out in huge numbers like they did during the All-Stars Cricket match at Citi Field in 2015. As much as I'd love to see cricket take off in America (which has huge potential), sadly it's going to be many years before more ICC approved stadiums are built in America.
