Who says Salmon wouldn't be better than Hoffman? Huge weakness there likely to be exploited by Manly. Maybe BA should change sides with Taka and Hoffman and stuff Manly up.

Being serious for a moment though, Salmon really has never locked down a single position. He probably needs time to settle in to one before we look at him as a genuine option long term in any specific spot.

He's demonstrated that he's a first grader already IMO but he's still very raw

Being serious for a moment though, Salmon really has never locked down a single position. He probably needs time to settle in to one before we look at him as a genuine option long term in any specific spot.

Imo Salmon has only played one decent game and was dropped to bench or reggies the next week. If BA wants him in the team then put him in! This putting him on the field with 5 mins left to play is a waste of a bench spot and could mean the difference between winning and losing a game.

He needs 20mins atleast. I agree. Otherwise let him develop in NSW cup.
Unless he is there for insurance to cover an injury in halves,hooker or centre in which case once our 2 centers are back then Taka should get this utility role.

4 forwards on bench is not needed if it is only reducing our better forwards minutes.

I have no idea what Salmon offers yet that makes us a better side.
To me he looks more a half then centre due to his running style but we have Brown and Moses there.
Parry is your classic centre. Runs straight and hard and very physical. His reads in defense are not NRL standard yet but I reckon his attacks good enough.

Salmon may end up growing a lot more. 6'2 and 96 kgs at 20.
He may end up 6'3 and 103kgs once fills out. Perfect lock
