Anybody have concerns in the off season that bomber was not the guy for the job. First year coach and all. Bunch of mean kids, egos and all.

Anybody rethink those doubts after hearing him talk in pressos. Knowledgable. Unflappable.

Tits coach got punted this week. Great coach for reserve grade they said. Plenty of success with lower grades. Young blokes trying to get a crack in Nrl love him. Play for him. But the top grade players hate him. Thought he was a joke. Didnt listen when he talked. Ratted him out in the clubs investigation. Theyre first graders...he's a novice. What would he know. In one ear. Out the other.

Maybe bomber isnt heard by blokes who have done it all. Lovely bloke bomber but what would he know. I've won a grand final.

Hear bellyaches presso after we beat them weeks ago? lf they dont get the message he will get blokes who do. Foaming and spitting - they know he ferkin means it. Haven't lost since.

In front of the whole team you stand and explain why you kicked it out on the full or why you missed that tackle or why you dropped it on the first. Total accountability. Training sessions where Cam slater and cronk accept nothing but perfection. Game standard.
Senior players who actually stand up. Give a shit. Set the standard and enforce it.

Our brand now seems to identify with teams like the Tits and dogs. Overpaid players refusing to put in. Not playing where theyre told. Coaches with no influence.

Bomber inherited a top 4 team. Made stronger with the addition of the NZ halfback. Many thinking top 2. Thats gone. Top 4 gone. Top 8 under threat. Well and truly.

Being backed by the players.....what’s said & what is done is probably 2 different things.

There are too many in the squad that played with Morris & have allegiance to Flanno. He needs segregation. We need a few more of the older guys moved on + Moylan.

Whereas the younger guys look up to him & respect him & genuinely believe in him....Hence they play for him! It’s no coincidence we were winning with the young blokes playing!

Clever bloke bomber. Will probably make a damn fine coach and actually showed his potential with xerri nikora and flanaghan against the storm in early rouns. Bit like bellamy and the baby broncos decades ago.

However he was never the guy to follow flanno with this bunch of misfits. And with the digruntled clown known as dymock beside him? Please.

Hearing great things about justin holbrook. Aussie guy earning his stripes in the UK. An 80%+ win rate at a financially struggling club.
Incredible.

Part of me thinks we turn this around and go on a roll and put a huge scare through this comp til late in september when we have a blowout 1 game short.

If it season continues current trajectory the club will be faced with a choice. Back the coach and let him do what is needed to get the squad he needs to take club forward or back the players and get a new coach.....

The success rate of players becoming coaches and having great success with the team they were part of a few seasons ago, is not great.... Tough Gig. At least he hasnt slapped anyone yet!!! I suppose next year Gallen , Feki,Prior , all likely gone , If he gets Fifita and Graham,and the halfback(?) onside a bit like Bellamy had,Smith and Slater and cronk,he might just have a chance. Fifita strikes me as being a loyal big unit if hes on your side.
