2020 Reserves Setup

15 Teams have successfully entered the reserves setup

Not sure if it'll just be 1 tier of 15, or if they'll split into 3 divisions of 5 etc. Glad to see reserves rugby is back on the menu though.

Seems strange if the scenario of Leigh being promoted and London going down. Hopefully it works out regardless.

Should never have been scrapped in the 1st place along with allowing Salford to do away with their academy setup.

Leigh or featherstone could very well beat Toronto for promotion. London do indeed look doomed.

London have a higher rated academy iirc, so theoretically the player pathway is there.

The broncos academy sides all seem to struggle against the northern teams but they do produce a steady stream of championship and super league level players.

I guess academies are about producing individuals not teams though. Through weight of numbers the northern teams should be able to find a half decent player in every position.

This. And if the academy side is successful then that’s an added bonus.

It will be interesting how this will operate as there are less than 15 division 1 teams

And how it will be impacted during promotion relegation
