Hoping we sign Hunt, have Moga, Sione and Mann?, with Best and Hoy coming through but they might need some time in Cup to progress.
Short answer is No.

Serious question:

Do we have any players signed up to play centre or wing next year?
Lee ( ok ) , SKD ( retirement beckons ) , Moga ( knees of glass ) , Hunt ( should be ) , Musgrove ( 23 yrs old and yet to make debut ) , Star, Best, ( kids but could be the answer ?)

Prototype wingers these days are huge and or can run like the wind. Important for getting sets off to a flying start out of our own end. we have no established winger that fits the bill. ( maybe Lee ) SKD tries hard every game but he's running on old legs- next year may be 1 season too many.

Centres off contract 2019

Mitchell Aubusson, Javid Bowen, Gavin Cooper, Aaron Gray, Hymel Hunt, Michael Jennings, Richie Kennar, Sebastian Kris, Chris Lawrence, Brenko Lee, Nene Macdonald, Brad Parker, Brad Takairangi, Joel Thompson, Enari Tuala, Dylan Walker

Wingers off contract 2019

Tevita Funa, Jacob Gagan, Mawene Hiroti, Matt Ikuvalu, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Greg Leleisiuao, Lachlan Maranta, Corey Oates, John Olive, Izaia Perese, Jordan Rapana

I wish we got Brett Morris as a bargain like the Roosters did.

He's exactly the sort of player we're missing at the moment

Maybe then Jennings or a Chris Lawrence? How would Oates do as a centre? Wanted to play second row right? Sign him on Ramien money?

I think everyone can agree centre isn't Mata'utai's best position...

1. Ponga
2. Lee
3. Hunt
4. Michael Jennings
5. Bestman/Toa?

I really liked what Hunt and Lee offered on that side. I wanna see them together. Need a whole new right side...

Serious answer sadly.

Kurt Mann, after he fails at 6 (4 weeks), 1 (Ponga rest, 2 weeks), 9 (Brailey/Brown spat, 3 weeks), and 8 (Klemmer, attitude problems, oh shit, Wednesday 9am).

Musgrove is 21 not 23 and probably wouldn't played this year had he not been injured. Other off contract players are Bernard Lewis who's a young winger from the roosters, and Jordan Kahu who can cover any position in the backline.
One player not on that list is Andre Niko from the raiders who's the leading point scorer in reserve grade and I believe is off contract. Niko is 6'4, close to 100kg and only 21. Raiders will have a bit of a log jam in terms of wingers with Cotric, Bailey Simonssen and Oldfield all signed up for next year and Rapana looking like he'll re-sign, Sebastian Kris might be another option to go after, he scored 2 tries in 3 games this year and is only 20.

unless he's demanding a large upgrade I don't see why we wouldn't resign Hymel Hunt. He's been one of our most consistent players.

Would love for once to see us jag a signing from nowhere that turns out to be a masterstroke like CNK for the Raiders.

I’m happy to see SKD go around for another year. I know he’s not quick anymore but he makes plenty of tough runs out of our end and is still a good finisher and good in the air too.

I would also be giving Hunt a reasonable upgrade as he’s been very consistent at left centre.

We definitely need a specialist right Centre and probably another couple of back ups to cover Centre & wing.

Out of that off contract list I would look at Javed Bowen and Brad Takairangi.

Bowen has got a bit of size and can play centre or wing. Not sure if he’s had many games this year but rated him in the last couple of years. Takairangi is a solid option at right centre and has a reasonable skill set so wouldn’t be against that option either.

Bowen is a funny one, the few times I've seen him he hasn't looked bad but seems to have fallen off the face of the earth

I've heard Ramien was definitely released so he's out and that Ese'ese wants to stay.
Brailey is signed so I reckon Levi will go.
Not much talk about SKD. I'd let him see out his career with one more year while we groom in a young guy.
