I get that Finch has been going off a bit much over the last couple of nights about foul play, but he has a point.

People talk about the game getting soft, yet in the 80s and 90s it would have been perfectly normal for Taupau to be sent off last night, or for Young to cop a massive ban. These days it’s like everyone has got used to horrendous foul play and innocuous technicalities being treated almost the same way.

Yeah they are both really tough games we are going to have to play our of skins to have a chance in and you would think either way you gotta beat both of them.

I am mostly disappointed that we finished a very good year with a losing record at home and the icing on the cake was that effort. It was awful conditions to watch footy in and they didn't play to the standard that the home crowd probably deserve.

Probably because there’s not a big difference between playing the Roosters in Sydney or the Storm in Melbourne. We rested 4 of our top 13 but the attitude of the guys playing should still be there. Disgusting effort.
