Why on earth would manly give up their home advantage at Brookie? For the good of the game? Lol

Well it wouldn't be Manlys choice would it, just like the AFL forced Geelong to play in Melbourne this week and next week (which is a bit rough, Geelong's a seperate city), the NRL should should put a higher criteria on finals venues. Home state was a bit far but it should at least be home city (In Sydney's case atm a choice of SCG, ANZ or WSS). At the start of the year people were saying brookie wasn't up to NRL standard, now it's supposedly fit to host finals?

they played there all year. It must be nrl standard. I think it’s a sh!t hole but that’s how it is. The nrl has stated clubs can have a home game first week of the finals. It will be played at Brookie. That’s it.

Yep, have no issue with teams using home grounds for finals. I know most here focus on numbers attending, but ive always leaned to appearance on tv. it should be an attractive first week with games at bvale, aami, and bwest hopefully all 90% full at least. sadly chooks bunnies will look worst, not least in an oval stadium, but could have biggest attendance number.

Which is exactly what it was until this year.

Was originally changed because the media whinged about suburban grounds locking "Dragons Fans" out of the semi against Parra in 09. Now the NRL have changed it back because the media whinged about the games at SFS and ANZ not getting decent crowds when Penrith, Manly and Sharks hosted finals against out of Sydney teams.

Can’t see AAMI being 90% full but the crowd will look great. The chills and bunnies should be a good crowd, there is no excuses for that one. Really all 4 crowds should be good.
