Well deserved for Fish. Pretty cool to have a second player in the top 8 too, with Tamou finishing 7th.

Just confirms what the eye test was telling us, our engine room was not the problem this year.

The engine room got us from A to T.

It was the U to Z section that was the major problem

This isn't a team specific issue but effects everyone equally. The NRL are going to start fining clubs for stopping games incorrectly for injuries.

JFH is one of those no frills type of players every team needs. He has had a great season and will be a well deserved winner of our best and fairest come our presentation night. Given everything that has been going on at our club this season does this insulate him from being shopped around or deemed surplus to requirements.!!! You really wouldn’t know would you?

I think To'o deserves it more, as he was the most consistent. Naden and Martin had too many mixed performances.

Apparently the Panthers web has sent out emails seeking votes for Player of the Year and Try of the Year. Have they sought the views of the fans in respect of the rookie of the year”. If they have I haven’t seen it. They probably don’t need to I guess given Brian To’o wins hands down.
