So what is the point of having a salary cap if certain clubs can't attract the same kind of TPA's that Easts and Mel do? Easts spend virtually nothing on nurturing their juniors as do Melbourne and some other clubs. For the Panthers the annual cost of supporting over 7,500 juniors is massive.
