I hold Souths solely responsible for those dire figures on 9 last night.

AFL even managed more in the regionals.

Yeh the boring blow out nature of the game would mean the avg audience would have dropped significantly as people switched off at ht I suspect. What was the peak v the avg? Afl surprising given it was a WA v regional Victoria club and not two of the Melbourne big clubs.

Looks OK overall, but will this excite the FTA stations enough for the NRL to get a decent increase? They tend to look at the 5 cap city ratings .

Should be noted that the NRLW season is still playing out. Suggest the ladies grandfinal will gain significant ratings on FTA tv and pay tv and throughout the remaining finals. At the conclusion of this season the tv ratings will be impressive. Remembering a test against NZ is happening as well.
