Jared is gone, so our prospects of making the Grand Final are greatly diminished.

JWH has been rubbed out from the preliminary final.

We have only a 44% win rate when he doesn't play. (77% when he does play)

If it is Melbourne whom we play then SST, Tetevano, Liu and either Butcher or Collins will have to play the games of their lives. Otherwise Asofa-Solomona, Bromwich, and Finucane could cause havoc.

He is a big out for us, no doubt. But if they can’t all collectively lift and get it done it won’t because JWH isn’t playing if we lose. We’ve moved on from 2017.

Then other players will need to fill the breach.
We still have the talent to beat the Storm.
In a boost Jake should be back this week.

You know you guys, the record is only poor because in 2016 JWH had an ACL injury (and a host of other important players were injured) and in that year we stunk and came 2nd last. 2016 is an outlier. Take that year out and our win record shoots up without him. Even then, having him didn't do much good in 2017 did it? Whilst he certainly is a valued member of our team, If our players turn up (and what players do we have!), we have every right to win. I'm quietly confident
