He required two boots. One from Bulldogs too, who didn’t even have much talent to justify it. He even stuffed up at Manly but must have finally got the wake up he needed.

It’s not that Des is a guru for getting him to play. He simply put up with his crap for longer.

Surely Des at least gets credit for getting him fit.

Is he fit? Probably due to actually turning up to training. That’s why Tigers and Bulldogs flicked him. I guess Des could have played a part in motivation.
