Seg or Licha ?

As a choice between the two, I'd take Seggy.
Billy M has filled in several positions at the Jets out of necessity, inlc 5/8 last Sunday, but will make an excellent backrower and the club already knows this.

Chad can be back up hooker, Toovey moved from half to hooker.

Half would be Trindall with Tracey covering

Brailey hooker, Chad covering

Wow what an uninspiring choice.

Both can’t pass the ball out of dummy half consistently well.

If either ended up as starters for the Sharks at any stage the attack would be clunky as hell.

Definitely not Lichaa, his ego/attitude vastly outweigh his talent - he has a poor pass, consistently chooses the wrong time to run, chooses bad options - not any any price.

Seggy I could almpost live with on the bench - he often chooses the wrong option, but can provide some spark.

I'd go Isaac Luke on a cut price deal for 12 months (while BB finds his legs).

Hookers who needs them? Just buy a forklift, give it to the halves, that is how the top teams play.

Hodgson, Smith, Cook over rated mofos, Roosters ain't the same team without Friend, the kid at 9 will need a blinder or Melbourne progress.

Outside backs are all the rage, lets buy M Jennings or Brad Parker for 800k.

With Gallens money buy David Fusitua.

Swap Wade Graham for Javid Bowen.

Fifita for Jacob Gagan.

I saw Sorro play hooker for Newtown the other week.

Just any mofo will do, just the dummy half..........................................................

I hate everybody.
Great post. Got a chuckle from me after a shit day. Well played sir.

Billy can play 9 but shouldn’t play 9.

If we can get Seggy back cheap we should do it. Blayke will need some help

But maybe he should play 6. f**k he was good at 6 for the Jets the other day.

Like John Asiata with a better kicking game and a longer pass.

Surprised me

Margoulias would be handy on the bench but would he be fit enough for hooker. Probably the toughest job on the field. I think he could do it though he is fast over 10 meters and dose a nice grubber kick to the in goal. Then he can also do second row and prop.

Billy played two games at hooker through the year and hated it. He wasn’t very good either.

Club seems to be having trouble finding his role and has done for a few seasons, suffering from his versatility? Seems the perfect candidate for a ball playing lock, coming back into vogue.

Dunno how the Jets go for makeshift hookers so often, it's THE specialist position imo...can rarely tailor make one.

f**k I miss Ennis he's maybe the best 9 we've had? Just read the game so well, frustrated the opposition with and without the ball, always dangerous and tough and smart..might just give next season the flick and watch 2016 round 1 to the GF.

Don't worry, the usual suspects on here were blowing up when we signed him & bagged him during most games for stuff like, kicks going dead, penalties, how he played the ball & missed tackles etc.

Look I like what I see with Blayke, I want him starting and playing 80 mins.

But blokes get injuried, touch wood, he plays every game.

But we cannot revert to a part timer to start games.

I have not seen Grant Garvey. He has been named for Newtown but as Blayke was avalable has not played for a while
https://www.nswrl.com.au/players/nsw-cup/newtown-jets/grant-garvey/

As far as I can see he is the only other hooker on ours or Newtowns books.

Segeyaro and Luke are only useful if you plan to give your hooker a break, great impact players.

I would be going for a player who hopefully plays every game for Newtown as Blayke stays fit.

Therefore Lichaa or McIlwrick.

I do not want to carry a hooker on the bench, if Blayke does go down, Billy goes to 9 for the rest of the game, but does not start there next game. A dedicated 9 does.

If your nine is not one your best attacking players and the fulcrum of your attack you're farged, come again next season
