Not every week anyway.

You could see yesterday the toll it has taken on them. Their first NRL pre-season and for a few of them their first full reserve grade season and for Parry throw in a few first grade games. It's a long season and when it's your first you don't know all the tricks and techniques to get the best out of your body for an entire season, it's why it usually takes 2 full seasons to get a regular first grade spot, unless you're an elite player.

Lost the under 20s in the final seconds in 2017, now lose the NSW Cup in the final minute of ET. This club can't take a trick.

Yep and that’s why we are playing them in NSW cup at a young age, so when they finally get an NRL start they have already played a season or 2 against “grown” men rather then their own age in the 20’s.

Gee we could have stacked our 20’s side and won the comp but what use wouId that be.....

A grand final team really should have more than 3 players, maybe we just punched above our weight.

Wentworthville Magpies Greg Leleisiauo, Tim Mannah and Rhys Davies have been named in the 2019 Canterbury Cup NSW Team of the Year, following NSWRL’s announcement after the Grand Final at Bankwest Stadium yesterday (September 28).

The Canterbury Cup NSW TOTY is chosen by expert media commentators and nswrl.com.au staff and recognises the most consistent players from the state’s premier competition.

Wentworthville coach Rip Taylor was also named Coach of the Year after helping steer the team into the Grand Final from eighth position.

Canterbury Cup NSW Team of the Year
1. William Kennedy (Newtown Jets)
2. Mawene Hiroti (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
3. Morgan Harper (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
4. Tristan Sailor (St George Illawarra Dragons)

6. Connor Tracey (South Sydney Rabbitohs)

Unless Salmon has a killer off season, he’ll start in reggies. Although he likely only needs to prove more useful than Taka, Stone or *shudder* Smith to make bench.
And no way based on last year is Kaufusi ahead of Evans. Early in season he MAY be 5th choice but after that he’ll have to prove himself otherwise Gower and Penis Torpedo are also ahead of him
