I actually have us sliding next year. We havent signed anyone of note, are going to start the year without a 9, losing Matterson who was our best player and we dont have any young guys coming through who look like stars.

I know theres always a some player movement between now and Christmas. We're likley going to be active with Matterson and Matulino freeing up about $1mil. Unless that attracts a genuine star I can't see us improving much,
I’ve heard Matterson is staying.

Penrith won’t be anywhere near the top 8.

We don’t have the cattle or the coach to do any better.

Heard from a pretty good source.

I don’t know if it’s 100% true, but I believe it to be.

I guess we’ll see.

I hope you're right tbh. I know Matterson has burnt many bridges it must be said (media fluff or not?) but he was an absolute weapon for us this year and you'd be lying as a tigers supporter if you said you'd rather him leave

You may well be right but keep in mind this year we only missed out by a point despite being crap for most of the year and a team made the finals who had more losses than wins and then got belted 58-0... With the right draw and a bit of luck, even crap teams can make the top 8... they don't get near the top 4 though and I suspect we won't get near the top 4 with our current squad, even though I'm happy we signed Korisau.

It's too early to predict a ladder with the squads so far off finalising.

I actually think Penrith will improve a fair bit, I never really rated the Maloney/Cleary pairing, I think that they had some great moments, but that Maloney could often turn into a dictator on the field and shut out Cleary as an organiser.

That was actually quite difficult.

The only things I am confident in are:

Roosters Minor Premiers
Eels somewhere in The top 8
Storm will slide a little down the ladder

Some big players movements coming so this will change.

Matterson, Fifita & Oates mean big swings for the eels or Souths

so far it looks to me. The top 7 or 8 massively ahead of the rest

1. Rabbitohs..more signings to come. Full off season with uncle Wayne
2. Raiders...new half MAY improve them
3. Storm....same old storm
4. Roosters...slight drop with Cronk gone
5. Cowboys ..bought very well
6. Eels...Matterson could be a key otherwise they drop lower. No faith in Moses
7. Eagles.. Turbo is a injury liability
8. Panthers, Maloney going is actually a bonus. Api arriving also is

9. Bulldogs Buggered if I know if their end of season form was real. Will Know early
10. Dragons....pack to good to ignore
11. Warriors
12. Sharks...Gallen will be hard emotionally
13. Titans...more stability will help
14. Knights...too much player power and coach doubts
15. Broncos...Seibold to send them Further down
16. Tigers...total turmoil thanks to Maguire

My 2020 ladder predictions...
1) broncos, titans, dragons and warriors in bottom 4.
2) dogs, knights, tigers and panthers to miss the 8
3) eels, sharks, rabbitohs and raiders to make the 8
4) storm, roosters, manly and cowboys top 4

First coach to go... Mary or Kearney
Big improvers.... Cowboys edge defence
Big sliders... Raiders
Spoon... heart says Broncos but head says Dragons.

It’s always hard to pick so early, a month into the comp usually gives a fair indication on where sides are at. I’m afraid that I don’t even see the raiders making the 8. Which is a shame because they came so close this year!
