Well done cooks and Samoa and Lebanon. They were day one upsets. Thought the England v png women’s game was one of the better ones as well. Australia look, wry strong, Tonga invitational look like the turmoil has taken its toll, Fiji surprisingly poor.

Some surprising results. Australia look strong in both the Mens and Womens, obvious favourites to take both comps out. Tonga were outplayed by the Cooks, they looked clueless, you need playmakers and speedsters in this format, Tonga found that out the hard way. France were poor as per usual, good win by Lebanon.
