I thought Tim Grant retired?
In the paper a month ago he stated he was open for offers for next year.

I am surprised Danny Fualao hasn't been picked up by another club. A decent bench prop who would be a handy 4th or 5th prop option in someone's squad. Cheap too.
He averaged about 87 metres off the bench this year - more than our props off the bench. Averaged over 90 last year.
A good defender and I saw a bit of him this year he seems to charge into the defensive line with vigour. All he needs is to develop his off load more. Still young enough to improve. Surprised someone hasn't thrown him a bone.
Plenty of good depth options there. Riley Jacks or Sam Williams would be great depth half options. Wouldn't mind seeing TMM back. Takairangi, Sorensen, Hunt, Field, Sailor and Perrett are decent players who wouldn't break the bank.
TMM I don't think is what we need. An organiser we need Williams would be ideal.
Assuming Walker and Glenn aren't available.
I'd go Takarangi. Williams. Capewell. Thompson. Fualalo
Of course depending what contracted players are available
Taka is a good player.

Instead of someone else’s plodders we should be looking at young up and comers, for our much needed centre position I’d look at Zac Lomax, Enari Tualau, or even Euan Aitken, front rower I’d have a serious crack at Alex Twal and to a lesser extent I’d try to get Olly Clark backProblem is the available list is actually pretty sad this year. Most will be injury cover etc.

Twal, Clark, Aitken and Lomax end of next year, Tualau is off contract, cowboys didn’t renew him, former Australian schoolboys player, played all his junior football at right centre, right side player so green plays him left side wing, Lomax is talking to the tigers atm, Aitken has been told he is free to goThose guys aren't off contract for 2020 though...
