I doubt he is seen as top 17. Or top 20. Most likely he sits around 21-24 in our squad.
Go to some other teams and see who they have outside top 20. Wouldn't be much better.

He's a decent back up still. They're obviously thinking of him as Top 17 material.

Wasn't the "cooling off period" nonsense scrapped a couple of years ago? Plus, he's not contracted to anyone at the moment given he was released from his Tigers contract so if he back flips he'll be back flipping to being unemployed...

Cooling off is a week and it’s likely pro forma to NRL contracts. Both parties probably couldn’t be bothered waiving it
