Thought is start a similar topic to what we had last off season

Off to a flyer already, Manase Fainu arrested and refused bail after being charged with stabbing someone at a Mormon church dance

Is talk Matt Gillett will be following suit in the next couple of days

Always a fan of watching big Sam

Will now be interesting to see what the NRL do in regards to the salary cap. If they can get him off the books they have a big crack at Fifita who Bennett knows well

Pre-existing condition?
They are not meant to let those off.
Not sure how the Inglis situation went down, but may have set a new standard? They can have Blair, Bennet knows him well.

It depends who you are I think. Nathan Ross has to retire last season and all his money was included in the cap while Inglis’ wasn’t. We had to play a whole season with Matai and Stewart on the books while Watmough was cleared for Parramatta

Add Matulino to the retirement list now, his knee has got him. Tigers have agreed to release Matterson too

The Trbojevic lads have agreed to 6 year deals with Manly

FYI, Watmough salary was carried in the cap for at least a year after he was retired. The big issue was the insurance payout, which was settled some time later.

Bulldogs have reportedly pulled back on their interest in Latrell Mitchell, while Trent Robinson pulled him in yesterday and pulled the Roosters contract offer to him off the table as well, will be an interesting one to follow

Dogs extended DWZ yesterday

They must have watched Latrell play against Tonga.

Warriors could use a quality centre... is Mitchell keen on a career stagnating?

He doesn’t like doing the hard yards so could be a perfect fit, and the added selling point of being able to learn how to do even less in a game from Adam Blair

Is talk going around now that he wants to play fullback again

Fifita back in Australia, reached a handshake agreement with the guard, no money changed hands at all .... The Broncos power reaches very far

He will have to eyeball Toddy and co later in the week and get slapped with a wet bus ticket

It will be interesting to see how they do this considering they can't suspend him for test matches so he's free to play the start of the NRL.
