Apparantly, we had a chance to sign young Billy Smith from the Roosters, but also on advice, re McGregor he decided to stay there. Now he's tauted as Mitchells long term replacement. So, thats 2 young players wanting nothing to do with the Dragons due to one common denominator.

Smith would have been great but field is no loss. Will go well in super league thou

I'm happy that we have Ben Hunt as our halfback and not Josh McCrone thats for sure. On his best day he is a gem.
Just need him to show more confidence, stand up when the pressure is on be consistent.
Hopefully the next coach that comes in in round 11 2020 works well with Ben and 2021 is a better year for him and our club.

That next coach you refer to will be here before the season starts.
The rumblings around footy club land (and maybe just wishful thinking) is that Mary wont be here that long. But he wont be sacked that is for sure and certain.
