New PNG Hunters coach

Just announced this morning.
The new PNG Hunters Coach is Matthew Church.

Don't know much about him accept that he was Sunshine Coast Falcons assistant this year.

Maybe those who know more about him can elaborate.

Hopefully he can get PNG back on track. They were very very ordinary this year.

Hunters had one hell of a turnover this year so not so suprising they had an average year I guess.

Only 2 confirmed departures from this year that I know are foundation player Adex Wera who has retired and Moses Meninga who is joining the Townsville Blackhawks.

A 35 men squad is being named next week to start preseason so we will know more when that happens .

Correct. It's just a 1 year deal.
Am not sure about the reasons for this.
