No way. Hayne would be the pick. Reasonable price and can cover any position in the outside backs and 5/8th at a pinch.
He'd also cover the bathroom stall position when it comes to training, seriously, he is too far gone, and wouldn't contribute even in the lower grades,
But with Todd Carney atleast his on field attack, and training wouldn't suffer around the team, plus being a country boy who is a premiership winning 5/8th, much like maloney, just seems a better fit in the team environment, than the elitist hayne, who would demand terms, would just have to keep Carneys beer glass light of piss

If the tigers sign him as a fb McGuire might sort him out and get great value out of a genuine superstar, that is definitely possible but there have been rumours McGuire doesn't want him for the price and the cub is pursuing him anyway, if this is true and Latrell doesn't kick the laziness in his game then he is going to get exposed a lot more then he did at the roosters, a lot more. McGuire wont like him walking and bludging, its a shit fight waiting to happen.

I think it's a huge risk. McGuire is (I'm told) are hard task masters especially with training. This is really going to work out well for both parties (not). The fullback position requires huge amounts of running. Look at Edwards and his fitness levels.

This has got the possibility of being a car crash with similar outcomes to 90 day fiance.
