Was invaluable when we had a foward pack full of plodders. We also now have To'o and Dylan who are excellent at bringing it back. I love Sauce but he's done imo

Maybe i'm living in de nile (you know that river in eygpt. But I think he could (barring injury) have a wonderful year once again.

The rule has been you can’t tackle the defensive player in the air, now the rule is you can’t tackle either the defensive or attacking player.

So previously what Mansour was able to do is tackle the attacking player in the air if he missed out on the ball, but he won’t be able to rely on that anymore.

So teams won’t contest kicks now? No way that happens so lets see how it plays out 1st

Anyone interested in the Nines? Young Jerome nearly won the thing for Samoa on his own.
Should we wrap our players in cotton wool, or send a decent team?

They were... this rule was in place then but no tries were scored off bombs. RU has this same rule and rarely score off bombs.

But attention wasn't brought to it like this. A new rule with specific advantages will have at least 1 coach exploit it. Look at Raiders and the strip.

What is wrong with that strip though? Brings unpredictability into the game. Speaking of strips no reason wingers can’t strip the ball should they lose the contest in the air... afterall will be one on one now

If it's anything like the Auckland version then at least 12 players must be from the NRL squad.
