Fun Facts:

Peter Siddle born 25/11/84 is exactly one month older than Alistar Cook 25/12/84

7 more test wickets and Siddle (overtakes Merv Hughes, Charlie Grimmet) goes into 12th position of all time aussie wicket takers, and 9th for pace bowlers

Capable of tieing down an end in the UAE? That and a little experience, doesn't bring much else to the squad.

Still like him. Shame I won't see him at the JLT cup.

Peter Siddle is Bono, from that South Park episode about the biggest shit in the world.

Matthew Wade is second place holder

Let's hope he doesn't go past Grimmett. Grimmett was 100x the bowler Siddle could ever hope to be. Was still raking in test wickets at 44yrs of age (career was cut short in controversial circumstances), and played Sheffield Shield until 50 and could've gone longer had WW2 not occur.

And he was a Kiwi :)

Seriously though, Grimmett has got to be one of the most underrated spinners in history - acknowledged as a great, but worthy of a closer look when people start ranting about Warne and Murali

No denying Grimmet's record, but I'll have to take other people's word on his greatness as the limited footage of his bowling on YouTube certainly looks 'juicy'.
