As you ponder a stupid selection move that probably won’t matter... we’re opening with a keeper as we don’t have any bats in our carefully selected squad and keeping our part time spinner because he’s handy with the bat and we didn’t select the country’s two best spinners in the aforementioned carefully selected squad... the carefully selected replacement for Ferguson filled neither of these gaping voids...

Still nice that we’re invited to the big dance... hopefully we play better than in Perth

If Paine was batting well then five bowlers could work possibly but it makes us look weak again in the batting order. Head did get a 50 last game would be unlucky to miss out.

Surely you'd only play 5 bowlers if it's a road.

No point having an extra bowler if teams are going to be rolled in 70 overs.
