Lots of Teams of the Decades floating around at the moment.

Who would you say would be in the worst possible national side comprised of players who played 2 or more matches for you between Jan 1 2010 and December 31 2019?

NZ TEST-

1- Peter Fulton
2- Ron Nicol
3- Peter Ingram
4- Neil Broom
5- Daniel Flynn
6- Gareth Hopkins (wk)
7- Jimmy Neesham
8- Todd Astle
9- Matt Henry
10- Bruce Martin
10- Brent Arnel

It feels a little odd to have Neesham in there. I feel like he could have been afforded more opportunities than he has, but it basically came down to being between he, Anderson and Bracewell and he just pipped them.

England would have more enough plodders to fill two teams I reckon.

Adam Lyth
Keaton Jennings
James Vince
Tom Westley
James Taylor
Samit Patel
Ollie Pope
Liam Dawson
Jake Ball
Boyd Rankin
Simon Kerrigan

No room for Carberry, Stoneman, Ballance, Compton, Crane or Borthwick.

Finch was the most frustrating, the fact that they stuck with the bloke for the entirety of that series despite looking so unsure of himself. Just completely lost out there. Amazing he managed to score a half century.

Quiney was more funny to watch because you could tell he knew his selection was a joke and it made Warne look like a f**king idiot cheering for him. Same with Beer - his 1/112 was legendary.

i actually didn’t mind Finch’s selection. At the time we were minus Warner and Bancroft and no one was stepping up.
He did ok in the UAE. Then back in Australia ran into arguably India’s greatest ever pace attack. He wasn’t the only one to be made to look like a mug against them.

I get he didn’t open for Victoria but I’m glad he got a go to try and prove himself. But had he debuted this summer I reckon he’d have nailed it against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Burns hasn’t locked that spot down - it’s the final piece of the puzzle for us. But I agree Finch isn’t the guy now for it.

the one guy in there I really feel for is Ferguson.

Got selected with Australia was in pieces against South Africa, debuted in Tasmania where the whole team got flogged, his one test and they naffed him off straight away, never to be selected again....I really believed at the time and still now they should have stuck with him. But Maddison Handscomb and Renshaw got brought in.

If he debuted in any other test match, I reckon he’s half got more of a go. Simply bad timing.

Some of those I thought would play more tests, some I cant believed played a test.

Doherty was thrown in because of his One day form but ordinary first class record which was baffling as to why he was picked. They obviously had no confidence in Hauritz for the Ashes, then they picked Steve Smith as the 'spinner'.

Patterson shouldve been picked ahead of Maddison for that test.

Sayers shouldve been picked ahead of Mennie for the Hobart test but when Sayers did get picked it was an unfortunate time.

Quiney and Hastings getting picked was laughable in the end.
