Good comment by MoIses

Sixers all rounder Moises Henriques also acknowledged the dip in attendance last season.

“I have noticed the crowds aren’t as high as what they were last year. I don’t know if that’s resonating with the TV ratings as well,” he said.

If the tv ratings aren't good, then that's where it will hurt the most. many advertises wont be back, plus revenue may need to be paid back, pro rata the short fall promised/forecast

IMO

Go back to having it 4 weeks, games people will look forward to cause there is less

Start the BBL Boxing day 26/1. Final on Australia Day 26/1 (both mens and womens)

Each side plays 8 games only. Against each other + 1 local derby as the extra
Which means only 4 "home" matches for each side
Top 3 only - 2 finals gamesy (2 x 3, winner plays 1 in Final)

Wouldn't oppose to going to a 6 team comp, each side plays twice home and away

NSW Thunder Sixers
QLD heat
Victoria Renegade Stars
WA Scorchers
SA Strikers
Tasmania Hurricanes

Bring in Canberra and have everyone play everyone once for 8 games. 4 home, 4 away.

Reverse h&a draw the following year.

Finals top 3 as above or Top 4 only. This top 5 is to placate Vicderps whose beloved Stars who choke then can't win the comp no matter what format they chose.

Bat flip to the Renegades, they elected to Field

If Renegades win this one its 3 in a row

Then Finch comes back :D
