Must apologise to all for the ongoing ‘car’ comments in the Rumour thread.

l must admit l enjoyed people’s comments and thought we could continue it here, with its own thread.

So people, go ahead and post everything about your car, boat etc.

It would be interesting to see how many and what types of cars etc, people have had.

Over to you......

My workmates called me Soccer Mum when i first got this. Very insulting, I fkng hate soccer.
Actually got this for my back because you can step straight in, no bending or climbing required.
Great for birdwatching holidays with the missus, good for dirt roads and mild 4WD tracks.

Coach "Heralds" season a success as Dragons campaign ends in Triumph and fans run to greet him
The Video takes about as long as Lafai does to run the length of the field so hang in there.

My team for Rounds 1 to 4.

1. Lomax.
This kid has skills. If he can be allowed to play off the cuff sniffing around Vaughan and Sims, I think using his instincts and vision he could add some creativity that we’ve been lacking. Postioning at a first grade level will be a work in progress. And his speed off the mark is a concern.

2. Pereira.
His work early in the set was very good before his injury. Hope he can continue to take contact and doesn’t lose his nerve after the injury.

3. Lafai.
Put simply, give him early ball. He is stifled by being hit too late every time. Norman needs to take responsibility for bringing him into the game. His defence is fine.

4. Fuimaono
Put simply, there’s no one else. We know that Aitken is not a first grade centre. At least there’s a possibility that Tyrell is.

5. Saab
Tall and fast. I think he’s ready. Hope he proves me right.

6. Norman
Let Norman play. If he sees it, he should go for it. Have options outside of him and let him play. Also give him more long kicking responsibilities. I’d split it 50/50 with Hunt.

7. Hunt
Simplify his game. Give him Tyson on the out line with Lomax snuffing around. Give him three options - dummy and run, give Tyson the ball, or give early ball out the back to Lomax. Take away his license in defence to shoot out of the line alone.

8. Graham.
If he says he’s right to play, then he plays.

9. Mcinnes
Give him total control. Let Hunt and Norman call the ball if they see something. Cam has final say to put the ball where it should be.

10. Vaughan.
Make him hit the line hard, then look for offload. Want to see him sticking his head through the line before he passes.

11. Tariq
Get him running an unders line on the long ball, outside line on the short. Aggression is his strength. Keep it simple and let him be the enforcer.

12. Tyson
Every time he runs he is to aim at the outside shoulder of the 3 defender. Make them scared. Let Hunt decide whether to give him the ball.

13. Merrin
I don’t love this selection. But no one else is ready, and Mez might be. Tell him that he is allowed to use footwork before the line or offload. Not both.

14. Korbin
Keep it simple stupid. Hit hard. Run hard. Play the ball correctly. Do. Not. Play. For. Penalties. Get the simple things right.

15. Lawrie.
Rip in son. Play a simple props game.

16. Ford.
Cover for the back row or an injury to a back.

17. Luke
Let him play Lock when Mez is off. Backup for Mcinnes for fatigue or injury only.

Wish we had an Addo Carr in the driveway.

I’ve seen it around and it looks great, seems to go very well, reliable, only comes in a second hand model and the running costs are expensive due to the super charged turbo. A few marks and scratches, has been driven by cheats and thieves but comes with log books. Not sure how legit the Melbourne service history is. No airbags just yet but seems like a safe buy. Probably only needs some McRust proofing and good to go.

No warranty but I guarantee it will blow some of the newer models away for a few more years.

Good Carr I reckon.

Haha. I’d forgotten about your special love for Lafai.

If that strapping can hold him together for the season I think he’s the best option for 2020.

Would be very happy to see the club recruit for his position for 2021.

The 2014 model Great Wall broke down and blocked the driveway years ago.
